Senior Associate, Carla Evans, was just elected as the Secretary of the American Educational Research Association’s Special Interest Group on Classroom Assessment

The purposes of the Classroom Assessment SIG are to promote student learning through improved classroom assessment practices; to assist teachers in improving their classroom assessment practices and understand why it is essential to do so.

As the Secretary/Treasurer, I will manage and report on the financial accounts of the SIG and assist the Program Chair in putting together the program for the annual meeting. This position is a three-year term where I will move from Secretary/Treasurer to Program Chair to Chair.
