Documenting the Validity of Accountability Systems: A Progress Report

This presentation provides an approach for thinking about the validity of accountability systems, and provides several examples of how system design decisions may impact the validity of a school accountability system. The presentation was given at the Council of Chief State School Officers’ large-scale assessment conference in 2005.
